MEET THE TEAM
Manny is a Brampton, Ontario native and has been playing basketball competitively since middle school. He attended St. Marguerite d’Youville secondary school and was able to help the program win 3 ROPSSAA titles, on top of numerous tournament championships, MVP, and All Star awards. Success in academics and athletics allowed him to attain a full scholarship to attend Cornell University (NCAA) of the Ivy League in Ithaca, New York. His plans for next year are in the process of being finalized as he decides between different career paths. He has been accepted to pursue a Master of Science in Sustainability Management at the University of Toronto but is also considering playing basketball at the professional level.

"In my NCAA and CIS career, I was able to compete all across North America and internationally, on some of the biggest stages in basketball. Sharing the knowledge and experiences I have accumulated from being around the game drives me to give back and empower upcoming generations. I am excited for the opportunity to do just this, through the launch of a youth development program: ZOR Basketball. This organization will be a platform to help rising student-athletes from any community reach their athletic and academic potential."

Notable achievements: High School - competed in the 2010 All-Canadian national all-star game, averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks per game, named top forward in the province and No. 4 forward in the country by hoopstarscanada.com, member of the Toronto Star area all-star team, graduating high school athlete of the year, captain of high school volleyball and basketball teams; College – 15th Annual Graham Shootout Tournament All-Star, Jack Donohue Classic Tournament All-Star, Laval University Tournament All-Star, George M. Manny is a Brampton, Ont. native and has been playing basketball competitively since middle school. He also competed on the reputable CIA/Bounce club team which has featured star athletes including Tristan Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Tyler Ennis, Anthony Bennett and many more. Success in academics and athletics allowed him to attain a full scholarship to attend Cornell University (NCAA) of the Ivy League in Ithaca, New York. Manny has received multiple offers to play professionally and will likely begin his pro career in 2018.

Manvinder (Manny) Sahota

Harvinder Dhillon is currently completing a BSc at York University, double majoring in Kinesiology and Health Science & Mathematics for Education. Growing up in Brampton, Ontario, he began playing basketball and studying the gameplay of his favourite players from a very young age. He has been volunteering and coaching high school students since the beginning of his undergraduate degree. After completing his BSc, Harvinder wishes to pursue a bachelor's of education in order to become a secondary school teacher.
"There is no greater satisfaction than seeing character growth in students that you have mentored. Knowing how much teachers have moulded me into the person I am today, I want to have that same influence for future generations. Through basketball I do not only want to see the growth of players on the court but growth in their character and personality in order to prepare them for their future goals and aspirations."

Harvinder Singh Dhillon
Program Director
Sukhpreet grew up in Toronto, Ont. where he attended Martingrove Collegiate Institute helping the Bears to a AAA OFSAA championship in 2010. His success in school and sports during high school allowed him the opportunity to enrol into Queen's University and join their men's basketball program. After this, there was no looking back as Sukhpreet dominated the competition as a varsity athlete. He racked up accolades starting in his rookie year and currently ranks first in the Gael's basketball program as the ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER in school history with 1392 points. After wrapping up his university playing days just recently, Sukhpreet is deciding between various professional organizations to continue building on his playing experience.

"Now that my basketball career at Queen’s is complete, I’ve taken time to reflect on my experiences and have come to realize I can be a great influencer in the youth community and serve as a prime example that you can do anything you set your mind to. From only receiving one scholarship offer out of high school, having two hip surgeries during my university career, and still finishing as the institutions all-time leading scorer I’ve come to learn a lot over my five years. I’m excited to share those experiences, act as a mentor, and instill quality values in the next wave of student-athletes while also ensuring all kids tap into their basketball potential through ZOR Basketball."

Sukhpreet Singh
Skills Coach and Trainer
Sage was born and raised in Toronto, Ont. where he attended one of the country's most prestigious private school's - St. Michael's College. In 2013, he helped lead a talented SMC squad to an OFSAA AAAA gold medal, and bronze medal in 2012. Following a successful high school career, Sage was heavily recruited and ended up selecting the University of Toronto Varsity Blues program where he has served as starting point guard for the past three years. He captained the Varsity Blues squad with ZOR Founder Manny Sahota and helped establish the team as a contender in the OUA (Ontario University Athletics). Sage represented Canada at the 2012 World Maccabi Sports Challenge in Brazil. In 2016, he helped lead Canada to a championship at the World Maccabi Games Tournament in Chile, and will also be representing Canada this summer in Israel. Winning has been a prominent part of this student-athlete's life and with previous experience coaching for Camp U of T among other organizations, Sage is poised to help the next wave of young ballers.

Sage Usher

Baljyot is a 6’3 guard/forward born and bred in Brampton, Ontario. Playing basketball from a young age, he accomplished many milestones over the course of his career including notable All-Star and MVP awards. Out of high school he was recruited by Ryerson University (CIS), which is apart of the OUA in Toronto, Ontario. He attended the Ted Rogers School of Management for 2 years. As a part of a strong Ryerson Rams team, he gained valuable experience in a team that was nationally ranked. Following his time at Ryerson, he found a new home and transferred to the University of Guelph-Humber where he would start for the Humber Hawks and finish his career there. Completing a Bachelor in Business Administration and majoring in Accounting, he now plans on pursuing his CPA designation and potentially taking his talents to the next level.

"Over the course of my CIS and CCAA career I have had time to grow not only as a basketball player but as a person. Overcoming many obstacles along the way, I have learned that it goes beyond just playing basketball. There's nothing bigger than giving back to the community that made you who you are today. I am grateful for all the coaches and trainers that have gone above and beyond for me. I am very excited to help and share my knowledge with the new generation. I hope to impact the youth in providing valuable lessons and developing good qualities and skills through ZOR Basketball."

Baljyot Judge

Thomas Robson is currently completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto. During his time at U of T, he's participated heavily in student leadership, sitting on the Arts and Science Council, as well as being Head of Arts at Trinity College. When not in the classroom or in politics, he's on the hardwood. He started coaching in the seventh grade, wanting to spend more time on the court. While still playing for Royal Saint Georges College in Toronto, Thomas captained an undefeated conference champion and spent two summers playing high-level amateur basketball in Europe. He has spent eight years running camps and house leagues. He's spent the past five years coaching a rep basketball team. A career highlight is coaching at the 2016 NBA All-Star clinic and getting to work with Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Most recently, he worked with the OBA TIDP program, helping identify and develop talent in Toronto for Ontario Basketball.

Coach and Program Planner
Arvinder also known as Avi, is a co-owner and founder of Elite Performance House. He has completed his Honours BA In Kinesiology & Health Science from York University while concurrently obtaining the designation of Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Health and Fitness Federation of Canada. He is also a certified JOGA trainer, which is a renowned movement system in professional sports worldwide designed specifically for the athlete body. He truly believes in creating an impact within his community, and is using exercise as a catalyst to spark positive changes. He has had a life long passion for exercise and its ability to be used as a form of medicine. His personal athletic background stems from years of rugby, yoga, and long distance cycling.

Arvinder Sohi
Strength and Conditioning Consultant
Kwasi grew up in Mississauga where he attended St. Martin's Secondary School, and played club basketball for then Brampton Blue Devils, now Brampton Warriors. Out of high school he enrolled into McMaster and joined the nationally ranked men's basketball team that had an OUA Final Four appearance. Following graduation with a degree in accounting and economics, this ambitious scholar decided to continue his education at the University of Toronto, where he played for the past 3 seasons and is currently pursuing MBA options at various schools. Kwasi also has accounting experience at insurance and professional service companies including Desjardins and KPMG.
"I have always been a believer of the adage that it takes a village to raise an individual. Throughout my academic and athletic careers, I have been privileged to have mentors who supported me every step of the way. I am excited and honoured to be in the position to return the courtesy to the next generation of student athletes!"

Kwasi Oti - Awere
Coach and Academic Advisor
Manny Dosanjh is a student-athlete from Brampton, ON and has been playing at an Elite level since the grade 7. Growing up, Manny played for the prestigious Grassroots AAU program, which produced the likes of Toronto Raptor Cory Joseph and Dallas Maverick Dwight Powell while also competing at Sandalwood Heights Secondary School. After 4 years at Sandalwood, Manny was presented with an opportunity to take his game to the United States for a year of Prep school, which followed afterwards with a scholarship to play at Delta College in Michigan. Throughout his time at Delta College, Manny has become a team captain while also serving as the president of the student-athlete advisory committee. Manny is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration while hoping to attain his MBA afterwards.
